When life gets tough, Push Forward, see rewards and enjoy gratitude in your life!

This is the post excerpt.

Have you experienced struggles and thought how will I make it through this difficult time? Have you ever wondered why certain things happen as if they were meant to be. I know I have and I created this blog to share in the many of times I thought “what the hell just happened?” and the ultimate saying “This must be for some reason!” I am writing this first blog post as I am 5 months pregnant, am a registered nurse that was laid off yesterday due to a reduction in workforce, my 5 year old son is sick with a cold, my husband has some sort of leg infection brewing, and one tenant had a bounced check while the other owes us around $3,000 in past rent. This isn’t a blog to rant about negativities but to rather see the good that I will wait for since I know I too will get through this moment in time. Believe it or not this isn’t the worst that has occurred and the beauty is I have usually been able to identify the reason for such situations. That is the reason I will be able to push forward in this situation and every other situation that will occur.  I plan to use this blog as an outlet for not only myself but to be of inspiration for others that may be going through hard times.

Day 1 and Day 2 of layoff…

Started to write this….

Well I finally made the paper! Our large hospital layoff, 234 employees, was reported in the newspapers and online…not sure how I feel about it yet?? I had a “great” time filing for unemployment which took 3 hours to finish than another 3 hours to put together a rough draft on a resume all while taking care of my now sick 5-year-old and needy 12-year-old dog that kept banging his water bowl throughout the day. Not sure why he was so thirsty or why I didn’t just give him a mixing bowl to drink from but I would swear he thinks I am his bar maid now!

and then realized this…

The U.S. just had a massive attack as an evil man senselessly killed 58 men, women, and young adults and wounded another 489 people. That is 547 families that are grieving, dealing with unexpected loss and sorrow, and would do anything to have their loved ones back.

I am not worthy of complaining about what I am enduring as I am grateful to have my family near me and still here. As I am pushing forward I know these family members and their friends will do the same but on a lot larger level and it will take a lot more time to go through the process. I pray for those victims and their loved ones. If I had one statement to share with them it would be to find any good that can come from evil to take away its power over any situation.

God Bless!

My son Kingston made the most beautiful picture of a rainbow yesterday. What I love most about it is the many colors he used not typical of a regular rainbow you might see. This made me think of how unique each person is in this world, that each person is beautiful in their own way, and most importantly that there will be brighter days to look forward too. What is your interpretation of this rainbow?brighter days
